I took 27 kids here on a field trip and we had a blast! There is plenty of open space and activities to do, as well as plenty of space to sit and relax in between swims, cliff jumps, and zip lines.
First time going during the summer and it was awesome! Local and convenient with a lot of activities to do! Prices are decent.
not a fan of deep lakes) and had the time of my life. Large water toys everywhere, a small children area, and many zip lines to keep you having fun. I am definitely going back.
We went on a busy day with a lot of camp kids so some of the lines had a half hour wait. The park cleared out around 3 so it was easier later in the day to get to activities faster. There is a section of the park dedicated to younger and smaller kids.
What a fun park and unique water park! Most of the activities are based on getting in the water and many require a good amount of athleticism. They suggest that you should be able to do one or two pull ups for some activities like the rope swing and the zip line where you drop into the water. There's a lot of climbing to get to most of the zip lines, slides, and inflatables.
It's not required but I would suggest some kind of water shoes or flip flops to make it easier to climb some of the rockwalls and ladders as well as the paths since there are small rocks along some of the walking areas.
Activities are cool and exciting for the kids but the cleanliness of the park leaves a lot to be desired along with a fairly disinterested team of staff members.
We will be back again when we visit from VA!
However, the zip lining, inflatable obstacles and water slide are all fun and worth the trip. If only the park had an enthused management and motivated staff to go with its attractions.
I went here with friends for the first time (I'm
Packed on most days, would recommend certain days with certain ages for less congestion in lines for activities, that way everyone gets to enjoy and not spend hours in lines
If your looking for help with where things are or guidance on how to use equipment or enforcement of any of the posted rules this is not the place for you. If your looking for a clean, tidy and well maintained facility this is not the place for you.
You can rent lockers that you have access to all day and you can bring food and non alcoholic beverages.
Take note that this is billed as an "adventure experience," and that is worth thinking about. If you come into this park expecting activities that you just sit there for, then you will be disappointed. You basically have to swim and climb to every activity, but again that's how Brownstone bills itself. Overall this is a great place to go to have a cool mix of relaxing in the water and flying through the air!
